Personal Trading Rulebook — Current Strategy

This is the current personal trading operating policy. It is separate from, and does not override, any trading platform or provider requirements.

I. Purpose and governing principle

Trade according to fixed operating rules, with limited exposure, documented transactions, and sustainable realized results. A profitable transaction that violates these rules is an operational failure. A loss taken according to the rules is compliant execution.

II. Authorized trading sessions

  1. Two trading-account sessions are authorized per calendar day: one near the beginning of the day and one near the end of the day.
  2. Each session is limited to 15 minutes, for a maximum of 30 minutes of account access per day.
  3. The evening session is intended to review positions and close qualifying trades that would otherwise create unwanted overnight exposure. It does not authorize selling outside the exit rules.
  4. No additional logins, price checks, account-performance checks, chart monitoring, livestreams, or trading alerts outside the two sessions.
  5. Skipping a session or an entire trading day is permitted. A review never requires placing a trade.

III. Capital and positions

  1. The standard allocation for a new position is $100.
  2. Do not double down, average down, or add funds to an existing losing position.
  3. Do not increase position size or initiate additional purchases to recover a loss.
  4. Every purchase must be independently justified within an authorized session and must comply with applicable account and provider limits.

IV. Mandatory position-exit thresholds

  1. A position may only be sold when profitable up to the discretion of the trader. A position may not be sold for a loss.
  2. Positions between those thresholds are not eligible for sale. Discomfort with overnight exposure, curiosity, or a desire to recover losses does not create an exception.
  3. Account for transaction fees and other applicable charges when evaluating net results. Record the actual executed amounts and fees in the ledger.
  4. Do not extend a session or reopen the account to pursue an exit. Market movements between sessions cannot be monitored or acted upon outside authorized windows.
  5. Provider-imposed restrictions and account-risk limits remain applicable; this personal rulebook does not supersede them.

V. Independent decisions and rule changes

  1. Use independently established trading decisions, not third-party signals, predictions, copied recommendations, or social-media instructions.
  2. No chasing losses, discretionary recovery trades, or exceptions made because of a current position.
  3. Do not revise operating rules in response to a live trade. Review proposed changes outside trading sessions, document them, and observe a minimum 24-hour cooling-off period before adopting any change.

VI. Trading records and accountability

  1. Record each executed BUY and SELL with execution date and time, asset, exact quantity, total USD trade value, and transaction fees.
  2. Calculate cumulative realized profit and loss from matched purchases and sales, net of applicable buy and sell fees. Do not include unrealized price changes on unsold holdings.
  3. Display ledger transactions newest first. Display order does not change the chronological order used to match purchases with sales for realized-profit calculations.
  4. Record observations and plans without reopening the trading account. A completed checklist item confirms what actually occurred; it does not authorize an additional session or unnecessary trade.
  5. Mark conditional tasks not applicable when no qualifying position exists. Never manufacture a trade to complete a task.

VII. Compliance and deviations

Any unauthorized account access, overlong session, prohibited purchase, doubling down, or sale outside the permitted thresholds is a rule violation. Record the deviation and review it outside the trading session. Do not make another trade or account check to compensate for a violation.

VIII. Scope

This document governs the current personal trading strategy and does not establish trading authority for anyone else. Any separate business initiative, employee program, or trading service requires its own rules and authorization.
